How to Schedule a Seminar

Seminar information:

Number of participants is limited by size of facility.

My Seminars are made up of approximately 20 - 25 working teams and auditors.

Seminars hours may be from:

8:30am –to 4:00pm
9am –to 4:30pm

I do offer one day seminar but minimum two-day format is recommended to adequately cover important training topics. Second day builds on information learned the first day. Because of the building block nature of the training exercises, all topics apply to all levels of trainers. It is recommended that the seminar enrollment forms ask participants for their Obedience and Canine Freestyle experience level so that I will know how to tailor the topics. It is normally assumed that participants are familiar with the sport of Canine Freestyle and have already participated in some form of Obedience or Canine Freestyle Training. If this is not the case, introductory information can be added, and the level scaled down.

Flight Information

My flights are booked by the person or club hosting the seminar. The name of the airport I fly in and out of is Houston Bush Intercontinental.

Equipment

  • A wireless clip-on microphone and sound system suitable for the venue
  • Television and VCR

  • Touch sticks different sizes for small to large dogs (can be dowel rods)

All attendees that are working should bring the following:

  • Dog crate:  When I work with the handlers alone on the floor the dog needs to be crated.
